RETURNS POLICY

RETURN POLICY


This policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.

If you are not entirely happy with your purchase you can return your item(s) after notifying us within 14 days of receipt of your order for a full refund. You must ensure the returned products are received by our Returns department within 5 days of receiving a returns number otherwise your refund may be refused. Jewellery bought from us at carrieelspeth.co.uk cannot be exchanged or refunded in any Carrie Elspeth retail stockists. Similarly, any jewellery bought in from our stockists must be returned to the store where it was purchased. Proof of purchase is required.

Any Jewellery returned for refund or exchange must be in original/fully resalable condition and any labels intact and remain unworn. Unfortunately we cannot accept any returns for earrings due to reasons of hygiene. For gift exchanges / returns the name of the purchaser must be given in all circumstances. Carrie Elspeth Ltd cannot be held responsible for any items returned to us without proof of postage.

If you return your purchase by post or courier after the periods outlined above (with the exception of faulty or damaged goods), we reserve the right not to offer you a refund in full.

We may instead return your purchase to you. Prior to sending it, you may be charged the delivery fee applicable to the products and your location.

To return an item, please follow the following process:

  1. Fill in and submit a return form which can be located here within 14 days of purchase
  2. We will respond with a returns number within 2 working days
  3. Please return the item with all the original packaging and paperwork within 5 days of receiving your returns number
  4. Please take your return to your post office. Use 1st class signed for (NOT special delivery) and obtain a tracking number for proof of purchase (We cannot accept liability for returns sent to us by any other method, specifically without proof of postage from the Post Office) Shipping costs are only refunded for faulty goods.

PROCESSING YOUR REFUND


Refunds will be made within 10 days of the date of cancellation notice. We will refund the credit or debit card of the person who originally placed and paid for the order. Refunds may take up to 14 days to appear in your account. Delivery costs are only refunded for faulty goods. International customs duties and sales taxes are non-refundable for shipments outside of the European Community.




PROCESSING YOUR EXCHANGE


Subject to stock availability we will exchange eligible items that are returned to us within 5 days of the issue of a returns number. In cases where we are unable to provide an exchange, we will first offer a refund. The new item will be delivered to you once we have received the returned item(s) and it has undergone a quality control check. Return delivery costs are not refunded but the first replacement item will be sent out free of charge. Alternatively, if you see something you simply must have, please order online and we will refund your original item plus the original delivery cost when it is returned to us.




RETURNING FAULTY ITEMS


All our jewellery is made in the UK by highly trained homeworkers and by buying our products you are helping to support the UK economy. Every item is checked before we send it out and we try to make sure every piece is perfect. However in the unlikely event you want to return an item due to a manufacturing fault please submit a return form (which can be located here) making sure to attach a photograph of what you believe to be the fault. This must be done within 30 days of purchase. If we can confirm the fault by your photograph we will either send you a free replacement or issue a refund if this has been requested. In some circumstances we may require you to return the faulty item to us. In this instance we will send you instructions on how to do this. Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to you damaged or if there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. Any items displaying damage deemed to be a result of fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty. Your statutory rights are not affected.




REPAIRS / POLICY


If your jewellery develops a problem through normal wear and tear or by accident, we do offer a repair service. If you would like a quote on how much this would cost please fill in the repairs form here. On receiving your repair request we will give you full details of all costs and timescales to let you decide on whether you would like to continue with the repair. We will only call you for payment once we receive the jewellery. Carrie Elspeth Ltd cannot be held responsible for any items returned to us without proof of postage and delivery
